ABOUT 

      Alex Picou Jr.  is a licensed massage therapist with over 20 years of study and experience in therapeutic movement disciplines, as well as advanced training in Chinese bodywork for clinical practice. This includes an apprenticeship in Shenzhen China under Dr. Wang Bing Hao, advanced study under renowned clinician Andrew Nugent-Head, and an extensive mentorship with clinical collaboration alongside TCM acupuncturist and herbalist Corey Dillow. 

As the owner of Cajun Zen in Mandeville, Louisiana, Alex's work focuses on clinical bodywork, traditional herbal applications (herbal soaks, liniments, poultices, and moxibustion), and individualized therapeutic movement instruction. His approach emphasizes creating the systemic conditions necessary for the body to restore function and heal effectively.
