      Alex Picou Jr.  is a licensed massage therapist with over 20 years of study and experience in therapeutic movement disciplines and advanced training in Chinese bodywork for clinical practice. This includes an extensive course under renowned clinician Andrew Nugent-Head along with an apprenticeship at a Traditional Chinese Medical treatment center in Shenzhen China under teacher Wang Bing Hao. 

As the owner of Cajun Zen in Mandeville, Louisiana, Alex's work focuses on evidence-informed massage therapy through the Chinese Medical lens, and individualized therapeutic movement instruction. His approach emphasizes creating the systemic conditions necessary for the body to restore function and heal effectively.
